I worked with Ramsbury Estate to successfully secure permission for a new group visitor centre. The centre will become a showcase for UK farming, with areas dedicated to farming methods, animal welfare and the latest scientific thinking. Created to spark a love for farming in younger minds, the scheme attracted widespread popular support leading to a positive pre-planning process and smooth approval process.
A conservation area welcomes a new home
I managed to obtain approval for new home on the borders of a village near Salisbury. Faced with the intricacies of developing in a conservation area, a ‘fall back’ plan based on the conversion of an existing barn proved a material consideration in obtaining consent.
